Going out of town? We have you and your pet covered. Southern Hills Veterinary Hospital now offers overnight boarding for your cat or dog!

Our guests enjoy safe, clean facilities under constant staff supervision. Your pet will get plenty of exercise and socializing time in our expansive outdoor and indoor play areas.

All lodging options are cage-free, with each pet returning to his or her individual climate-controlled room for a comfortable and relaxing night’s sleep.

 

Boarding Amenities

  • Food, water and bedding for the duration of their stay

 

All guests are encouraged to bring personal items from home to help make your pet’s stay as stress-free as possible, these can include:

  • Toys
  • Blankets
  • Pillows
  • Treats
  • Food

 

Boarding Requirements

The following forms must be completed and signed at the time of drop-off:

  • Pet Care Agreement
  • Emergency Medical Treatment Release

 

Vaccination Requirements

Every animal MUST be up to date on ALL required vaccinations and medical treatments before being admitted to the boarding kennel. Please submit records prior to your reservation.

Regular flea/tick and heartworm preventative is STRONGLY recommended.

 

Requirements for Dogs

  • Annual Heath Exam
  • Annual Fecal Exam (negative)
  • Annual Heartworm test (negative)
  • Bordetella Vaccination (kennel cough)
  • Distemper Combo and Leptospirosis Vaccinations (DAPP-L, DHLPP, etc)
  • Rabies Vaccination

 

Requirements for Cats

  • Annual Health Exam
  • Feline Distemper Combo Vaccination (FVRCP)
  • Rabies Vaccination

If your pet(s) does not meet all of the above requirements or you refuse to sign the boarding forms, your pet(s) will NOT be allowed to board at Southern Hills Veterinary Hospital.

Emergency On-Call Service

Our staff is on call until 10 pm, seven days of the week. For all emergencies before 10 pm, please call us at 918-340-6633. If your pet experiences a medical emergency outside of our regular or on-call hours, we will refer you to:
